At BlueSky Mind Studio we employ therapists with a diverse range of skills and interests, who are trained and skilled in the most up to date methods and techniques.
After working in disability employment services for over 2 years, I have gained insight into the importance of vocational skills and experience as both a means of developing self-fulfilment and a tool to overcome mental health barriers, particularly in anxiety and depressive disorders.
My main interests are working with individuals with anxiety and mood disorders, sleep disturbances, and paraphilias. I also have experience assisting with the development of research programs for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, sufferers of sleep-phase disorders and parasomnias, and individuals experiencing homelessness and associated trauma.
My main goal and passion is to support clients to develop the skills they need to manage the difficulties they face in daily life. By taking a strengths-based approach and encouraging self-efficacy, I find that clients gain the confidence they require to take action and make positive changes to thought and behaviour patterns.
I wholeheartedly believe that we are the solutions to the problems we face and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
I find it very rewarding to be able to accompany my clients on their journey to self-improvement and achieve both personal and vocational goals. I believe we offer an invaluable service and I look forward to seeing it grow and continue to support those in need. I also love working in a team of supportive and passionate individuals who come from a range of different backgrounds and disciplines.
