We are a compassionate team of therapists based in South Australia and Western Australia, providing professional and inclusive adults from all backgrounds,
helping them navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions.
Our counselling services are available through referral from organisations supporting individuals facing a range of personal or social challenges.
We work with a variety of programs, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Disability Employment Support (DES), and Transition to Work (TtW),
to ensure that individuals receive the right support for their mental health needs.
Whether you’re seeking in-person sessions or telehealth counselling, our focus is on providing a safe, confidential, and supportive environment to help you on your
mental health journey. If you or someone you know is looking for professional counselling services under NDIS or other support programs, we are here to help.
Let’s talk about change: it’s your future.
Our team of qualified Allied Health professionals can help you through a wide range of issues and conditions including:
BlueSky Mind Studio provides participant centreed support through strength based therapies that assist the people we care for to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Our team of qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists are skilled and trained in the most up to date techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), techniques that have been demonstrated to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health issues. With minimal wait times for new clients our structured services provide participants with an alternative to traditional Psychology services. We offer in person support to individuals in the Greater Adelaide area, and can provide services nationwide via telehealth
At BlueSky Mind Studio, our compassion focus is all about putting you at the centre of care. We will work together with you to fully understand your current situation, the supports you already have in place and your goals for the future. We will work with you to determine what additional supports you need to overcome any issues in your life to empower you to make changes that will improve your quality of life.
Have you noticed that you have little interest or pleasure in things that you used to enjoy? Or have you found yourself becoming tired or being unable to get energised? Maybe you feel like you can’t relax, as if your mind is always on the go, or that you constantly feel afraid, as if something awful may happen, with no reason for this. Perhaps you are just not feeling yourself, and you want to talk about this with someone.
While it is normal to feel this way every now and again, if it starts becoming more frequent it may be a good time to speak to someone. Contact BlueSky Mind Studio on the referral link below and one of our team will get in touch with you to discuss your personal circumstances and schedule an appointment with one of our qualified Allied Health staff.
With such a wide range of services available to help and support you if you experience mental health issues, how do you decide who can best help? For individuals without a diagnosed mental health disorder a Psychologist or Counsellor may be able to provide support. Psychologists and Counsellors can both provide talking therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). BlueSky Mind Studio has both registered Psychologists, Counsellors and Psychotherapists available to support your needs.
Both Counsellors and Psychologists can also provide support to help mentally healthy people to function better. If you have identified the reason you are seeking therapy (for example you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, motivation, or obsessions) a counsellor is an excellent place to start as wait times are generally shorter.
If you are looking to ensure you have the right level of support from the NDIS to achieve your goals you will need to see a Psychologist to conduct a Functional Capacity Assessment. A Functional Capacity Assessment can help you determine your functional abilities and the limitations you experience performing everyday activities, and determine any areas where you may require support or assistance.
The BlueSky Mind Studio team includes both qualified Counsellors with experience providing CBT therapy, and Psychologists able to provide in depth care to assist with significant mental health issues and Functional Capacity Assessments.
Talk therapies are types of treatment that involve talking with an Allied Health Professional to address mental health concerns. At BlueSky Mind Studio, we are committed to providing evidence-based talk therapies with a focus on compassion and empathy. Our team of trained Allied Health Professionals offer a variety of talk therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which aims to change negative thought patterns and behaviours. Among other therapies, we also use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help individuals who have experienced trauma, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility and resilience, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for individuals with emotion regulation difficulties. Our compassionate approach to therapy creates a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, and to build resilience, emotional regulation, and positive self-image. We offer therapies in both individual and small group settings, depending on the individual’s needs and preferences.
